2. How DMVPrepHub Uses Cookies & Storage

We categorize our cookies and client storage mechanisms into the following groups:

  • Essential & Functional Storage: We use browser localStorage and session storage to maintain your current quiz page (e.g. Question 4 of 30) and tally your score in real time. Without this, the interactive exam simulator cannot calculate your pass/fail result.
  • Site Performance & Security: We use technical server tokens to protect our endpoints against spam attacks and server abuse.
  • Analytics & Performance: Third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) may set cookies to measure how visitors interact with our pages, which guides or state hubs receive the most interest, and how quickly questions load.
  • Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense): To support free access to our testing simulators, third-party advertisers deploy advertising cookies to serve ads based on your visit to this and other websites on the internet.

3. Third-Party Cookie Providers

The following third-party partners may place cookies on your browser when visiting DMVPrepHub:

  • Content Delivery Network (Cloudflare): Used for DDoS security and SSL edge acceleration.

4. How to Manage and Disable Cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish through your browser settings. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some interactive test features may not function properly.
